The house is located at the lower end of the village and our room had an open view out into the rice fields. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Jacky is super nice and a great host! He picked us up at the train station and dropped us off for the bus to Banna, which he organized for us. He also prepared food and gave valuable recommendations for our hike. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay and I highly recommend his place if you are looking for a nice, local experience and a friendly host.

The hotel is run by a very friendly Tibetan family of siblings and is located very near to the ancient town. Amenities are well prepared with a good variety food options ranging from local to western menus. My booking also allowed a free pickup or drop off to or from the train station. The common spaces are great to chill. There is everything you need right next to it: restaurants, bus station, south gate of Dali's ancient town.

Though not fancy, it is so special and our favorite . The location is perfect too.
