I’d stayed here in 1969 and it’s changed a bit in the past 50 years. :) I got to talk with the staff and they recorded some of the photos and Youth Hostel Passport I’d brought with me. Unfortunately the pages from the first half of 1969 were missing.

This hotel had everything we were looking for: it was clean, had no bugs, no disrespectful neighbours, and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Yes, it was a little run down but it had absolutely everything we needed for a quick cheap stay on the road. Highly recommended for people on a budget 😁

We booked very late as we only landed with the ferry at around midnight. Still the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Its a budget hotel, so you get what you pay for: a room with a bunk bed and a tiny bathroom. We didn't expect anything fancy for the price we paid so there is no disappointment at all. In fact, it was made really lovely by the friendly staff!

Great location, good parking on site, lovely bar and restaurant, cheap but lovely food and drinks, room was everything we needed for a quick stop. Easy check in and check out. Lovely sleep and even ground floor room very close to car park and entrance so was worried about morning noise but were not disturbed at all. Very dog friendly.

Its a budget basic hotel, perfect for breaking the journey up at Calais. Suit a family or single traveller alike. It has a locked carpark at night. Felt safe.

This is a great apartment in a great location. Very easy to park outside after a long drive. Check in process was smooth with a key safe.

Brand new furniture and fittings, spotlessly clean in a good safe location. Bit far out of main town but providing you familiarize yourself with the bus system before you go getting around is simple. From the rail station to the flat it is necessary to take 2 buses We were visiting local friends so they were able to show us the ropes but we would have struggled on our own. The buses are all free which makes for a very cheap stay. I would be booking again in 2023 but unfortunately we will be visiting with our dog and it is not pet friendly.
