Every room has air conditioning, and certain units at the hostel have a terrace. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Immediately after I arrived I felt like I’m at home. I had one of the little huts which was so cute and cosy. The bed and the pillows are super comfortable and it’s quiet so perfect for a good night sleep after a long day. The shower is hot and good pressure. Also it’s very clean everywhere around the hostel. The location is great as it’s closed to many restaurants, atm, shops. Ranasa is perfect to chill and socialise whatever you feel like as they have separate spaces for both. The stuff is just incredible. So friendly, kind and they will help you with whatever you need help with. Just simply a great atmosphere and great place to stay in Yogyakarta. I wish they had more hostels like this around Indonesia.

The house is small but it has everything you need, from a shared kitchen (with free coffee water and tee) to a small swimming pool. We loved Its interior design, it really feels to be in a Japanese house, so many small details! You can see that everything has been thought through and planned with care and taste. We had a private room with toilet, which was small but with all the necessities. The host is really friendly and available to any questions or help. Services: Laundry and breakfast (the hosts buys a typical Indonesian dish fresh in the morning). Location: Quiet spot but close to some famous roads and touristic attractions. Highly recommended!! I honestly didn’t have high expectations as I'd heard stories about some hostels in Asia being barely decent. But Huma completely changed that for me. If anything, it raised the bar. I arrived sweaty and tired after walking from the train station in the heat, and the team welcomed me so kindly, it really made a difference. Check-in was smooth, and to my surprise, the hostel had just opened. Lucky me! The room was spotless, and the linens were super fresh. Big thanks to Dida and Grace (and other ladies) for all the tips and for patiently answering my million questions 😄 You both made my stay so much easier!

Our private room was super clean and nice. We used the shared kitchen with a fridge and the possibility to make tea or coffee, really great! The shared space was clean and pleasant. We used the opportunity to order breakfast and we tried the local cuisine, so good! We also borrowed a scooter for two days. Everything worked perfectly. Thank you very much!
