KINOSAKI KNOT er staðsett í Toyooka, 2,5 km frá Kinumaki-helgiskríninu og býður upp á loftkæld herbergi og sameiginlega setustofu. The area is fairly popular, book in advance and stay a few nights to really soak in the atmosphere and culture, the onsens are amazing.

Kobe Guesthouse MAYA er staðsett í Kobe, í innan við 3,5 km fjarlægð frá Kobe Center for Overseas Migration and Cultural Interaction og 8,6 km frá Noevir Stadium Kobe en það býður upp á herbergi með... I like Kobe Maya Guesthouse with its well situated location from 5-7mins walkable from Nada Station. Surroundings are quiet, but if you mind the train sound in the night time, please choose the other guesthouses (which I do not have any issue with this). Well maintain and everything needed are provided. Check-in is relatively easy. Maya is very thoughtful, if you're traveler and wanted to go Mountain Maya, you may check with them for the complimentary pass. They will guide you through and it's penniless for the absolutely beautiful scenic view on top of Mount. Maya! Thank you, Maya! Would like to be back soon~

Yululu er með garðútsýni og býður upp á gistingu með garði og svölum, í um 11 km fjarlægð frá Awaji World Park Onokoro. Gistirýmið er með loftkælingu og er 9 km frá Izanagi-helgiskríninu. The cottage was beautifully made and smelt of cedar wood. The living room was so relaxing and we greatly enjoyed our stay. Homemade breakfast was so special! The host was very welcoming.

Situated in Kobe and within 2.7 km of Kobe Center for Overseas Migration and Cultural Interaction, Guesthouse NALUノ道 has a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Takashi-san was very nice and approachable! The bunk beds compared to other hostels that I've stayed are much bigger and also the room only has two bunk beds and is spacious, which helps if you need to fix your luggage! :D The rooms are on the second floor which has one toilet for sharing. The second floor also has a public space. Two Shower rooms are downstairs along with another toilet that has a bidet. The location is also a 5mins walk from the nearest subway station! There's a 7/11 and Family Mart Konbini near the place! I also tried ordering a meal in the cafe - the hamburger set meal was Oishi! It was very filling also since it includes a rice and hamburger + sunny side egg on top of it while glazed with a special sauce. It also includes onion rings and fries! Overall, the place is very good and affordable, would recommend and go back again here :D

CCCOFFEE HOSTEL Kobe features a garden, shared lounge, a bar and casino in Kobe. I really love this coffee hostel and this is my second time staying here. I was very surprised to see such an exaggerated 1-point rating. Firstly, Japan’s safety is widely recognized by travelers worldwide, and this guest’s personal feelings cannot change the fact that Japan is one of the safest countries in the world. Secondly, in a shared dormitory like a youth hostel, it’s reasonable for the host to ask guests not to lock the door from the inside, as this would prevent other roommates from entering. I feel this guest’s statement could lead to serious misunderstandings. Thirdly, as a shared dormitory, privacy is naturally affected, but that’s the nature of a youth hostel. It seems this guest doesn’t understand the concept of a youth hostel, and I suggest they choose such accommodations more carefully in the future. Additionally, the guest mentioned there was no space to organize luggage, which is completely contrary to my experience. Every dormitory room has reasonable space for luggage storage. Lastly, the guest hinted at the host’s nationality, suggesting that people from a certain country should avoid staying here. While this is their freedom of expression, I personally find it inappropriate. The café on the first floor is a great space for interaction, where you can meet young people from all over the world and have meaningful exchanges, which is one of the joys of traveling. The host is a friendly writer, knowledgeable, fluent in English, and very willing to engage with guests. Therefore, I believe this is a hostel worth staying at for a few days. In the future, whenever I return to this area, I will choose to stay here again.

Toyooka guesthouse Hostel Act er staðsett í Toyooka, 11 km frá Soun-ji-hofinu og býður upp á gistirými með veitingastað, ókeypis einkabílastæði og bar. After staying in both chain and independent hostels in Japan, and elsewhere in the world, I have to say this was my favourite hostel experience. It truly felt like my friend and I had just been invited to a family member's home to stay for the night. It was such a lovely and cozy experience! The decor is whimsical, the kitchen is well-stocked, the showers and facilities are fantastic, and the room we stayed in was tatami and lovely. Whenever I am in the Toyooka area again, I will be returning to stay at Hostel Act :)

Staðsett í Tatsuno og með Himeji-kastalinn er í innan við 17 km fjarlægð og PERCH GUEST HOUSE býður upp á alhliða móttökuþjónustu, reyklaus herbergi, sameiginlega setustofu, ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna á... The owner/staff is very accomodating.

T and K Hostel Kobe Sannomiya East er í 10 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Sannomiya-stöðinni og lest. Það býður upp á sólarverönd og útsýni yfir borgina. location is good, and stuff is nice～

Hostel Yume-Nomad er staðsett í innan við 5 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Shinkaichi- og Minatogawa-neðanjarðarlestarstöðvunum. This hostel has tons of character. Wandering the different hallways and just looking at the walls is very fun. The room is interesting- it's 2 people in a room with a small gap allowing you to see the other 2 people in the room next to you. The staff are kind, check-in was easy, the location is solid with a cool walk up a hill to arrive at the hostel. I did not try anything, but you get a small discount at their cafe.
