Such a cozy & welcoming space with tons of little touches! The guest house staff were lovely and made sure I knew where to find everything. They had a really nice common area with tea, snacks, miso soup for free as well as snacks & cups of noodle soup to buy and a nice little kitchen that everyone could use. The rooms are small but clean, well equipped and contain everything you need. I also really appreciated that they had a locker outside to use for free for pilgrims hiking up to temple 88 - such a kind gesture and perfect for those like me who needed somewhere to leave their large backpacks while making the steep climb up to 88.

And the bar is just a jewel. Very tasteful with a large selection of beers. A super bonus is that the host speaks very good English since he stays a couple of years in Canada. Just go there and experience yourself. You can thank me later

Upon entering our room and opening the window, we were greeting by a refreshing cool breeze coming off the water and the sounds of birds chattering in the forested hills around us. Our stay here was incredibly relaxing and they had everything we could possibly want. Fantastic!

Shin San is really knowledgeable of local culture and tradition and open to share with all guests. Very detail and helpful host. Coincidentally joined a bicycle trip he arranged with another guest, which happened to be a surprise and highlight of the stay in Takamatsu.

Set in Zentsuji, 37 km from Liminal Air-core Takamatsu, 深山邸miyama-tei offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. Miyama-tei is a quiet place surrounded by rice and vegetable fields. I enjoyed a restful stay in a comfortable bunk room. The facilities were very clean and the kitchen is well equipped. There are a few small cafes within walking distance. Check-in was self service and the instructions sent ahead of time were easy to follow.
