Beautiful and clean house where we can see Mt Fuji from the living room. The owner is helpful and does his best to make your stay pleasant. The area is great too: several nice walks to see Mt Fuji and the bus stop nearby.

Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. The view of Mt fuji from the street the hostel was on was amazing

Located a 5-minute stroll from Shimoyoshida Station, Hostel & Salon Saruya offers a renovated 80-year old Japanese-style accommodation with free WiFi. most amazing accommodation on our trip so far views are amazing. Location was great loved the free tea. The traditional style housing was so great.

What the town lacks in attractions, the hostel itself compensated in facilities (1 person onsen, communal area with a relaxing vibe and the option to buy drinks, clean sleeping area etc) & great services. Also it's really close from Shin-Fuji station, as well as a few shops and places to eat. The owner/person working at reception is a really cool guy who knows English that recommended some great places to take photos of Mount Fuji (ありがとうございます). Overall great price-value accommodation.

Room is clean and comfortable to stay, mattress is super comfy. We had a very good sleep for the night. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. We were late for our bus to Mishima station for Kyoto, and rooms were fully booked on the day, fortunately the host helped us to make resevation at nearby hotel. We had a lovely experience. Highly reccomend this place.

The host was great, she made everyone feel really comfortable & offered some great recommendations for dinner. It’s about a 30 minute walk into the town.

Very affordable place within walking distance of Arakura Sengen Park and two train stations. The room itself is cozy and I got a traditional style room with tatami mats and a futon. The shared toilet (it's heated!) and shower worked fine. The host is very pleasant and was happy that I got to see Mt Fuji.

Dot Hostel&Bar 富士山 is located in Fujikawaguchiko. With a shared lounge, the property also has a bar. American breakfast is available. Beautiful place, I’ll remember the lake, the neighborhood and the peacefully of this spot. I’ll definitely recommend it.

I loved the large dining and lounge area and the kitchen. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. The staff even brewed a pot of coffee for guests.
