Even though it’s so close to the bustling city center, it’s surprisingly quiet. You might hear the call to prayer from the minaret, but overall it was much more peaceful than expected. There is also a shared kitchen, which was a big plus — we could buy lots of fresh local fruits and enjoy them on the rooftop terrace. I liked the rooftop terrace, you can watch the sunrise over the rooftops of Marrakesh, which is a beautiful way to start the day.
