I had the dormitory that was shared with 5 other persons and they were clean and respectful of everyone and keeping the noise down after hours. Their buffet breakfast provides great options in the morning and I was amazed. The food was delicious, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the surroundings were simply delightful and well kept. Can't wait to come back and stay again! The excursions are paid in cash. Some soles and some USD so keep that in mind when planning to book an excursion at the property

Host Jan Carlos gave a very informative introduction to Ica with a free personalised map showing local places of interest, restaurants, supermarkets etc. The location was excellent - 5 minutes walk from the historic centre and restaurants yet not on a main road so much quieter than some hostels in Ica. A taxi to Huacachina is just 7.50 Soles and ive never stayed in such a clean hostel. Although there is no kitchen there is an area with microwave, cutlery and crockery within the rooftop bar / chill out area where you can bring your own beer and food to the large fridge provided. There is free water and the showers were hot and with good pressure. Jan Carlos definitely gets 5 stars for being the most friendly, helpful and kind host.

Boasting a shared lounge and a poolside bar, Wild Rover Huacachina is situated in Ica, 150 m from Huacachina Oasis and in the center of the night life in Ica and Huacachina with clubs for the afterparty after the bar closure. Located within walking distance of all the local clubs, restaurants and it is in the backyard of the dunes. I absolutely loved this place. Great location, events every night, super friendly and helpful stuff, clean rooms. Also, chilling the whole day at the pool was really nice.

Nazca Trails is a couple of streets from the bus station, about a 10 minute walk but away from the noise of the main street. Juan and his wife are very friendly, Juan lived in London so speaks great English. The room was light and comfortable, the location was quiet and only a short walk to the centre. The bathroom was spotless, towels clean and fresh. The bed was comfy, bedding also clean and fresh. I had a very relaxing time and stayed an extra night because I liked the place. There isn't much to do in Nazca except see the Nazca Lines flight which Juan arranged for me for a very reasonable price. There's a garden area to relax anytime of day which is nice and peaceful. If you're looking for budget accommodation in Nazca with nice people I recommend Nazca Trails.
