About this property
Located on the banks of the Salzach River, in the center of Salzburg, the Hotel Stein has a history dating back to medieval times and was fully renovated and reopened in the spring of 2018. The lifestyle and design hotel offers guests a panoramic rooftop terrace with views over the rooftops and the surroundings. Rooms at the Hotel Stein show a mixture of modern and classical style, with Austrian and Venetian influences. The luxurious rooms all have air conditioning, a unique furnishing and handcrafted glass decorations or lamps. The restaurant Steinterrasse is located on the 7th floor and offers a view of the old town of Salzburg. Hotel Stein's own spa area can be used against a surcharge and features a relaxation area, sauna and gym. Guides are provided in the rooms with running, hiking and Nordic walking routes. Only 230 feet from the property, the well known Linzergasse starts, where a variety of shops can be found. Cultural landmarks like Mozart's Birthplace, Salzburg Cathedral, the Mirabell Garden and Hohensalzburg Fortress are all within short walking distance to Hotel Stein.
