We are Tom and Marjolein Hiemstra and together with our son we want to offer an unforgettable and carefree experience with First Mountain to people who are in the Austrian mountains for the first time. With our organizational talent and passionate approach, we help you achieve heights in an 'accessible' way.
Wenns is a paradise for the skiers and hiking enthusiasts. The beautiful high mountains invite you for an active holiday full of adventure and natural beauty. The Hochzeiger ski area is a 10-minute drive from our house. It is a popular ski area located in the Pitztal, a beautiful valley in the Austrian Alps. This area contains varied slopes and breathtaking mountain landscapes. Skiers and snowboarders can enjoy more than 40 kilometers of runs, varying in difficulty. The area has much more to offer than skiing. Put on your hiking boots and explore the beautiful mountain trails that lead you through vast forests and along clear mountain streams. Breathe in the fresh mountain air as you enjoy the spectacular views and the soothing silence of nature. If you don't want to go out alone or are curious about the most beautiful places, take our experienced mountain guide with you! Whether it is winter or summer, there is always something to do.
