Beautiful location, quiet, green and with Mountain views. The apartment is fully equipped, perfectly kept up and very comfortable. The hosts, Reinhard and Margareta, live downstairs and are available for any help. A lovely nearby creek with the ability to have a cold water soak is very special (Kneipp therapy). The area is lovely for hiking.

Enjoy your holiday in one of our three individually, modern and comfortably furnished apartments - embedded in the basin of the beautiful Obernbergtales at 1,400 m above sea level. Unique mountain scenery, natural well-being and special friendliness awaits you in the Obernbergtal. Relaxation, tranquility, enjoying nature and taking a break from everyday life can be found in our guesthouse Geir. Parking is free in front of the house. Hiking, walking, cycling, skiing tours - all these activities in the wonderful nature with a fantastic panorama make your vacation a relaxing one and give you strength and energy. Snowshoes and poles can be organized free of charge via the tourist office Wipptal in Steinach am Brenner - by prior arrangement. We make sledding available to our guests free of charge. In a 2-year renovation phase, we completely renovated the Geir guest house in 2016 and built three lovingly furnished, high-quality, and cozy apartments with an original brick stove. Reinhard Geir worked for 45 years as a merchant in Austria, South Tyrol, Germany and Switzerland. After completing his active professional career, he now devotes himself with joy and enthusiasm to the new task of making the holiday guests as pleasant and relaxing as possible. Margarethe Geir looks after and maintains the property with a very beautiful herb / flower and vegetable garden. With 30 years of experience as a Bach flower consultant, she also gives lectures on the "medicine of the new age", how to achieve physical and mental health. Personal advice is possible on request. Our goal and aim is to create an oasis of calm, a source of energy and a place for relaxation and recreation in this wonderful place in the midst of a breathtaking mountain landscape.
In summer you can explore the wonderful mountains and enjoy the view of the Tribulaun in our spacious flower / herb and vegetable garden on the wonderful, lush green lawn. Children can have fun in the garden, on the adjacent mountain stream with crystal-clear mountain water and a natural Kneipp zone, or in the forest and scramble up the trees. Parents can watch the children play from the balcony or terrace of the apartments. No matter what time of year, nature always offers a special experience. May to June the Obernbergersee fills up and shows itself in paradisiacal dress. At Lake Obernbergersee at 1600 m you can relax, hike, bike or swim. You can find everything from simple hikes to high alpine tours. In winter, Obernberg is an ideal starting point for ski tours, snowshoe hikes, tobogganing or cross-country tours. RECREATION, RELAXATION, REGENERATION, QUIET, PURE NATURE! Ski areas nearby are: Bergeralm in Steinach am Brenner or the Stubai Valley
