Our quiet near Swan River location is close to frequent direct public transport to either Perth CBD or Fremantle. The buses travel along nearby Canning Highway every few minutes and the Journey time is between 15 and 30 minutes depending on which bus route is chosen. The two self contained spotlessly clean Apartments offer every convenience for home away from home comfort and are perfect for business trips, re-locations or holidays. Enjoy the extensive river and sunset views whilst entertaining your guests, drinking a glass of wine or cooking a barbecue on the patio. (Please respect that this is a quiet residential area.) Within walking distance are the Swan River, Wireless Hill Park, Garden city Shopping Centre, Cinemas, fast food outlets and Restaurants. Both Apartments have a few outside steps leading to their outdoor patios and entrances.(4 steps up to the large Apartment and 8 steps down to the small Apartment) You are welcome to use the Piano in the Large Apartment. (Please not late at night and do not forget your sheet music) The only shared facility is a secure fully equipped Laundry room and outdoor clothesline.
We are a semi retired professional couple. Camille a Medical Scientist is currently working part time in haematology and Jeff a Professional Golfer enjoys teaching and playing golf. We have traveled extensively and prefer to stay in small private apartments like we are now offering. With our children now living overseas we are fortunate that we could downsize without relocating by dividing our large home into separate short stay apartments. Having been managed by an accommodation booking company for some years we are looking forward to now managing our own properties and bookings. We are a friendly couple and very happy to help or offer advice if wanted, but will always respect your privacy.
Alfred Cove is a small quiet suburb adjacent and south of the Swan River located approximately half way between Perth CBD and the popular port city of Fremantle. The Swan River is a large body of water dividing Perth suburbs and is popular for yachting and cruising. Nearby Lucky Bay is one of Perth's best wind and kite surfing locations. The river foreshore has walking and bike paths plus picnic areas and free to use gym equipment. There are many parks and sporting facilities in the area. -Wireless Hill Park with 99 acres of natural bush-land abounds with West Australian wildflowers for much of the year. There are many walk trails and scenic lookouts with panoramic views of the River and Perth City. This park also has grassed picnic areas, free barbecues, playground and a Telecommunication Museum. Walk through or around the park to Garden City Shopping Centre. This premier Centre is one of Perth's largest and has Department stores, Supermarkets, Specialty shops, coffee shops, food hall plus cinemas, banks, PO and Bus station. -Other nearby sports attractions are lawn bowls, gymnasiums and a Swimming Centre. -Good frequent bus services and easy access to train lines.
