Glenfield Cottage is on a working beef cattle property. We also have a few other animals including sheep, horses, chickens and a passing parade of native birds and animals. Guests are welcome to join us to feed the animals, collect the eggs, wood or whatever else we are doing on the day. Being fully self-contained there is the option of having your own meals whenever you want or get us to advise the best places to sample the excellent local produce.
We love our part of the world and will help you enjoy it too. We can send you touring the area, give you jobs to do on the farm or leave you in peace to recharge your batteries in the serenity of our beautiful countryside.
The Great Victorian Rail Trail is only 1.5 kms away. You can bike it, walk it or ride your horse along it. Talk to us about local things to see and do.
