Small town with a few little shops, unfortunately the museum was closed so didn’t learn much about the towns history. Two service stations three old pubs and a cafe providing food, so that was a plus.

Customer service from the young girl at the Shire office was poor at best.
We came looking for wildflowers & her best response was to drive around the back roads and look for them!
The only cafe was in no hurry to open on time and no great hurry to serve. If you are patient you can have an average meal/coffee there.
There is no information centre as stated on Google, you have to go to the Shire offices.
The BP has limited food options and very pricey for what is offered.
