Noosa Flashpackers, hotel in Sunshine Beach

Flashpackers Noosa provides premium dormitory rooms and private accommodation. Each room is equipped with its own ensuite, so no need to walk to communal showers.

Nice room and cummunal kitchen. I liked that there was a small shelf and power outlet by the bed. Good, sturdy bunk beds and I really liked the curtains to provide you with some privacy and ensure you wouldn't be disturbed if someone turned on the light. I asked if I could get a bottom bunk, which they reserved for me for which I am very greatful. While it was mostly a youth hostel they thankfully turned down/off the music no later than 10.30 pm. + for Spider, the dog, whose purpose in life is to play fetch + for towel, hair dryer and hair straightener + for free breakfrast and the mostly free evening activities + for pick-up service

Great surf club with fantastic food & it was right across the road from our accommodation. The local restaurants are amazing too. The surf was a bit wild due to the cyclone in northern Queensland. Very easy walking distance (1 minute) to the restaurants & shops. Taxis are very prompt & the river & Tewantin are very handy to Sunshine Beach via taxi (Approx $25)

    Good for walking.

Good for walking. At the time, perhaps due to recent storms, the surf was too rough for us to swim comfortably in. Lots of nice little restaurants serving good coffee. Surf club did nice food but we couldn't book. The end of Sunshine beach led up to the beginning of a headland walk to Noosa which some of us did regularly. Community felt very safe. The biggest disappointment for us was no air con in the third room. It was very small and also had no space for belongnings in this room which was a bit deceiving. Appreciated the staff hirning an air con for us. The two showers also leaked on to the floors which we informed the staff about.

Sunshine Beach village has a great vibe, the surf club and restaurants were all excellent. Our favourite things were the dog beach and National Park walks. It is a short 5 minute drive to Noosa Junction with lots more restaurants, a great IGA, shops, and easy parking. If you want more, Hastings Street and Noosa beach is just 10 minutes away.

we lived in Noosa 15 years ago it seems to have become a rat race for overcrowding lack of parking and more people than the place can hold. that was why we went to Sunshine Beach, nice and quiet pity about the unit we chose, price was reasonable but there were cheaper and probably much cleaner and better? old surf club had been renovated and Kitchen is now run privately? was charged twice for our meal and when I went back next day I was basically accused of trying to rip them off even though I showed them both charges within minutes of each other, food was ordinary for prices being charged. Drinks where also over the top compared to other clubs and pubs.

Sunshine Beach was a really great surprise package for me.

Sunshine Beach was a really great surprise package for me. I only visited for half a day to have a quick surf but I have to say that I think it's even nicer than Noosa. The beach is huge, beautiful and pristine. The actual town itself is nice and quiet with some amazing views and great places to eat.

Quintessentially beautiful Australian beach, and quieter area. Beach is more exposed compared with Hastings Street, so sea is rougher and flagged section is often narrow. Great, but small, mix of local shops/restaurants/cafes. Enough not to have to leave Sunshine Beach, but Hastings St close enough to enjoy by car or walk if you're keen to get 12000 steps thought the Noosa National park.

Fantastic location - beach stairs across road. Easy drive into noosa beach as well. Good apartment - no.7. Could see ocean from verandah - although best to call them to check view before booking. Leah was welcoming, very friendly, helpful and organised - which makes all the difference. Have alternative key access if you are arriving late. The shops/cafes were out the back of apartments and beach out the front, surf club 50m away. Pool was ok and good for kids. Very relaxing holiday.

Everything! The layout of the apartment is perfect for a family of 4. Kitchen is well equiped with items you would have at home. The view speaks for itself - so beautiful. Conveniently located just up from Sunshine Beach village, walking distance to both the dog beach and to where the flags are. Jodie the host is lovely and very prompt with communication. Highly recommend.

The place was peaceful and well cared for. There were plenty of spaces to relax, eat or work. The bathroom was shared but private which is unusual to find in a hostel. The staff kept the place extremely clean for a hostel too. And being able to walk to restaurants and the beach and also catch a bus into Noosa or down to Coolum and Maroochydore. It is a great location.

Beautifully clean and tidy, including excellent linen & kitchen needs. Short stroll to Sunshine Beach & walking distance from great food options too. Ideal undercover parking too. Also very good communication from owners. We would definitely stay here again when back in town for the Noosa Classic bike ride!
