I traveled on my own account as well as for humanitarian organizations, including the Caucasus and Africa. I love the small pleasures of life and especially to share them. I attach great importance to welcoming our visitors so that they feel most comfortable as possible. My husband loves to cook and will be happy to concoct small dishes on request. He favors traditional cuisine with fresh seasonal and local products. We go into effect regularly from small producers in the region for a quality meat and vegetables. We willingly enter in if you follow a special diet or if you have any food allergies. Examples: gluten free, lactose free, vegetarian. However, we do not go in if your life would be endangered because of traces of celery or peanuts. Generally, meals are charged 25 francs per person (mineral waters and coffees included). For children: SFr. 1.50 per year of age. If your child is 8 = SFr. 12.--.

Old village house in a simple and rustic style. This is not a 5-star property but we take great pleasure in making our guests feel comfortable. The 3 rooms are on the ground floor. On the same floor there is a small bathroom but the shared bathroom is upstairs. We draw the attention of our kind customers that we are not equipped for credit cards. We therefore thank you kindly to pay cash in Swiss francs. We thank you for your understanding. After some significant abuse, we unfortunately had to make the decision to no longer accept csts and dogs. On the other hand we have animals ourselves, so beware of allergies to dog or cat hair. Donkeys for rent for a walk or a hike! Remember to book yours for your next adventure!

Our house is situated in a quiet hamlet in north-Waldensian to ten minutes of Yverdon-les-Bains or Grandson (therefore outside of the major axis). There is very little traffic and a beautiful natural environment that can recharge. For night life a little rough, you find establishments on Yverdon or Lausanne. A stop postbuses is located a block away from home. The nearest train station is Vuiteboeuf (approx. 3 kms). We will gladly pick you up for free in Yverdon-les-Bains or Vuiteboeuf if you are traveling by public transport. We can also pick you up in a more distant place but it will be charged at SFr. 0.70 / km (back-and-forth).
