I was able to check-in even though I came to the hotel in the evening after official hours.

The staff is friendly; the beds are comfortable; the bathroom is nice though simple; there is a kitchen block in the room, which is the reason we took this hotel; the balcony is definitely a very nice addition; so is the pool; and last but not least, the entire hotel is spotless clean which is something Switzerland is well known for. So in short, this hotel ticks all the important boxes and I can recommend wholeheartedly. BTW, the breakfast is included and in keeping with what you expect in this price category.

As I grew up in this town/city I knew the Hotel under the old management/ original owner I had an idea what to expect. Great view on the balcony at the back, which brought back memories of the time I spent there with the boy scouts. During my stay on only met one member of staff who covered reception and also cleaning. She was exceptionally friendly and helpful. A very big thank you to her.

Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden. Da es eine Großbaustelle hinter dem Hotel gibt (die nichts mit dem Hotel zu tun hat), wurde uns - nach Information - ein Hotelzimmer gegeben, wo weder die Aussicht noch die Ruhe durch Geräusche beeinträchtigt waren. (Es wäre keine Änderung notwendig gewesen, weil am Wochenende nicht gearbeitet wurde...). Im Zimmer war zusätzlich zur gebuchten Leistung eine kleine Küche vorhanden. Frühstück: alles was man sich wünschen kann, war frisch und genügend vorhanden. Zimmerservice: schnell und sehr sauber. Wir waren mit der Bahn angereist; eine Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Hotel hätte uns auch verkehrstechnisch gut weiter geholfen. Aber es gibt auch ausreichend viele PKW-Parkplätze. Wir waren zum dritten Mal da und kommen gerne wieder, zum Besuch der Verwandtschaft im Ort.

Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Die Hotelzimmer sind sauber und sehr gepflegt. Für mich wichtig war guter Wlan-Empfang, auch das lief problemlos. Die Hotelleitung war auch flexibel in Sachen check-in und checkout.
