Pirna is an ideal base if you want to explore Saxon Switzerland. The Old Town is compact but very lovely. It has very tranquil ambiance, which suits travelers seeking a peaceful getaway. For the people to love old architecture, Pirna is a gem as it is completely unspoiled with modern concrete monsters. There are many great restaurants and cafes within the Old Town, though most close quite early. From Pirna, it only takes within less than 1 hour to get to Bastei, Bad Schandau or other smaller towns.AnFinland

The room has coffee set, table, a big bed, bathroom, wardrobe etc. We stayed in the middle of Autumn but the heating was working and the room was warm. There weren't any noises. We didn't hear our neighbors.

It is a few minutes walk downhill to the marketplace, where there is a really good breakfast restaurant Canaletto, this is highly recommended.
