breakfast was nice and staff was friendly and helpful. the pool was enjoyable as well as lounging around the grounds and taking in the beautiful view. the location made it easy to take the bus to the Zugspitze and there was plenty of parking as well.

The hotel had every accommodation needed to have relaxing stay. I loved the pool and the ability to lounge outside enjoying the view of the mountain. I also enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen. The beds were also very comfortable.

Everything is sparkling new and everything is delineated (including rules). The hotel appears freshly renovated to the style of a spacious, bright and natural interior. Beautifully paneled wood and leather surfaces literally add to the athmosphere, while the lush green tress and hillsides complete the views. You can easily get immersed just by looking out of the window and listening to the brook. What I especially loved was the water from the fresh local spring. I can't think of anything more unique and yet more vital. I am grateful that the diligent and likeable manager, though sometimes a little strict, went out of her way to anticipate our accommodation needs. The culturally inspiring town of Murnau is only a 30 mins drive away.

The view of the mountains from the back yard is absolutely breathtaking. Friendly farm goats even approached the fence line to say “Servus!” one morning. Nice touches throughout, like daily sweet treats on the nightstand; fleece blankets, robe, slippers, backpack and tote in each room; breakfast with guests’ choice of coffee and egg; and access to a pool and saunas. The breakfast hostess was especially pleasant.
