The building of the apartment is a vastly visited and photographed landmark in Berlin. It brings modern sustainable architecture together with nature-based rounded shapes as seen in the aluminum-slats facades, the staircase, the integration of the facades of neighboring buildings, and the couch let into the floor in each flat. The design is by award-winning German architect J.Mayer.H, "Germany's Frank Gerry." Flat 5, where you would be staying in, was the "showroom flat" designed in detail by J.Mayer.H, such as seen in the tiles in the bathroom. You are in the heart of Berlin between the gallery district of August- and Linienstrasse to the north, Spree and Unter den Linden to the South, the Reichstag, Chancellery, and central train station to the west, and Alexander Platz to the East.
This uniquely modern building is located directly in the heart of Berlin, not far from Alexanderplatz, the magnificent boulevard "Unter den Linden" and the vibrant Friedrichstraße, and offers you the perfect sanctuary of peace directly in the middle of Berlin. The building is located on a quiet side street with direct access to the exciting city life. Countless sights, such as the Museum Island with the Bode Museum and the Pergamon Museum, are in the immediate vicinity and support the exciting and varied atmosphere of the big city. In the immediate vicinity, past the S-Bahn arches, you can, for example, stroll through the antique market "Am Kupfergraben," across the bridge to Monbijoupark, or along Oranienburger Straße to Hackescher Markt. You can explore more galleries, small cafes, and unique culinary restaurants and bars on the charming side streets. From the apartment, you can easily reach S-Bahn Friedrichstrasse, which will take you all around Berlin.
