Everything about the property was exceptional. The hosts provided food for our first breakfast and dinner and bottled water was available. We have stayed at a lot of properties and this place was up there with the best.

Your peaceful oasis is only 10 minutes away from the fairgrounds and 15 minutes from the city center without traffic jams. Enjoy free parking on the property and use our complimentary gas grill. Treat yourself to heavenly sleep on high-quality mattresses in a quiet residential street on 1400 m² of land, completely fenced, with private access to the Ludwigskanal. We offer fast Wi-Fi (100 MBit/s), many electrical outlets, 4 TVs, Netflix, a work secretary, yoga accessories, and more. You can control the room temperature digitally. The well-stocked fridge awaits breakfast ingredients and food for a first dinner. Enjoy mineral water, tea, and coffee for free. The cellar bar offers chilled beer, wine, and sparkling wine. Upstairs, three bedrooms with TVs and views await you: "Clara" (bed 200 x 200) with a large balcony, "Rosa" (bed 160 x 200), and "Ella" (bed 120 x 200) overlooking the Ludwigskanal. The bathroom has two sinks, a shower, a bathtub, a hairdryer, a diffuser, a GHD straightener, and Rituals care products. The modern toilet is on the ground floor. Towels and bed linen are generously provided. You will also find an iron/ironing board and a steamer. In the reception area, you will find the house book (many useful information!), brochures about the area, and travel guides ready for you. The perfectly equipped fitted kitchen, the cozy dining room, and the living room with two couches, a 65-inch TV, and a stereo system offer a lot of comfort. You can reach "Nürnberg Messe" in 10 minutes via the A73, the "city center" in 15 minutes, "Challenge Roth" and the "Rothsee lake area" via the A9 in 15 minutes. The "Nuremberg Airport" can be reached via the A3 and "Fürth city center" via the A73 in 20 minutes. "Erlangen city center" can be reached via the A3 in 25 minutes. A bus stop is 500 m from House Gertraud. In 12 minutes you are at the subway "Langwasser Mitte", in 7 min. at the "fair" and in 12 min. at the "main station Nuremberg". Directly from the house, you can experience relaxing walks, bike rides, and jogging tours (Jakobsweg, 4-rivers bike path, Franconian dunes path) on the picturesque Ludwigskanal. In winter, the canal invites you to go ice skating. All restaurants are within walking distance in 500 m. A playground is located 500 m away. To the Waldschänke Brückkanal with beer garden, you walk 3.8 km directly along the canal. Supermarkets, organic shop, drugstore, and pharmacy are 2.3-5.0 km away, and butcher and bakery 2.9 km away. Explore the mystical Schwarzachklamm past Schloss Gugelhammer towards Brückkanal in 5.2 km. Nearby you will find the "Feuchtasia outdoor pool" (5.9 km) and the Walderlebnispfad Wendelstein for young and old (4.2 km).
