Das Apartment liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Künstlerviertel Ufer, in dem regelmäßige Veranstaltungen stattfinden. Es gibt eine kostenlose Bibliothek 2 min entfernt sowie einen Bolzplatz im Park daneben. Viele Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Lidl, dm, Woolworth, Tengelmann ...) sowie Cafes zum Frühstücken sind ebenfalls um die Ecke z.B. in der Badstraße. Auch spät in der Nacht/frühmorgens findet sich etwas zum Essen oder Trinken. Circa 1,5 km entfernt gibt es ein schönes Hallenbad (familienfreundlich) sowie 0,5 km weiter den weitläufigen Schillerpark, in dem regelmäßig Fußball gespielt wird und durchaus auch mitgespielt werden kann. Etwa 500 m entfernt gibt es einen schönen Spielplatz gegenüber der Pocodomäne, dem Norma und dem Kaufland.. Tram und Bus sind 200m entfernt, die U-Bahn (10 min zum Alexanderplatz) ca. 5 min zu Fuß. Die Gegend ist ruhig und sicher, und in der Badstraße sehr belebt
