Set against the backdrop of desert and mountains, Sharm el Sheikh is a year-round Red Sea diving and beach resort. Although based on an existing village, it is very much a purpose-built holiday town, with lots of international brands of hotel, restaurant and bar lining its sandy shores.
The oldest part surrounds the Old Market, a heady mix of shisha and spices, roughly in the middle of the Naama Bay and Um el Sid suburbs. The other Sharm districts of Shark’s Bay and Nabq Bay are along the coast by Sharm el Sheikh Airport.
The Red Sea offers some of the world’s best dive spots with rich underwater life on the deep reefs of the amazing Ras Mohammed National Park. Other watersports include windsurfing, kayaking or banana boating, and the Cleopark waterpark has flumes, pools and rapids.
Other things to do include shopping at Il Mercato mall and the many souvenir stalls, karting at Ghibli Raceway, or watching a show at the Arabian-styled Alf Leila Wa Leila. Outside town you can go horse or camel riding in the desert, and visit a Bedouin village or St Catherine’s Monastery in the Sinai peninsula hills.
The Sharm el Sheikh accommodation on Booking.com covers everything from 5-star holiday resorts to all-inclusive hotels with pools, and cheap apartments.
Great place. All is peacefull and well organised. So take advantage of the discounted prices for air travel and accommodation while they last (some people fear the war is too close 😜) and come. You will not regret it.

Sharm is very touristy.
Sharm is very touristy. If you do any outings, scuba or other, you end up in big groups that join other tours in big groups, in the same location - very busy. If you stay in your hotel space or your allowed beach (you aren't apparently allowed to walk on the beach or walkway past your hotel property), then it's nice and relaxing. I wouldn't come here if you're a busy body, if you just want beach with a stunning clear water (and super close snorkeling), and don't mind lots of people, this is a good place.

Sharm ticks all the boxes for us.
Sharm ticks all the boxes for us. A cheaper Maldives if you pick the right accommodation. Snorkelling and diving are wonderful. The Egyptians people are lovely, but be aware they are there to make a living too. There are loads of fakes and tipping is always appreciated due to very low wages. A cleaner earns £140 per month! As for outside activities if you want to visit the sites be prepared for long days. Sharm is better done as beach stay or part of a multi visit to Cairo/Luxor. Overall I have been 5 times and would return again. Airport has poor facilities but the security is top. Safety first. Be prepared for hassle outside the resorts such as Nama Bay. April weather was 32 rising to 38 some days.

We liked a lot the seafood restaurants in Sharm - Fariz and Mahoni. I highly recommend them. Sharm has been modernised for COP 26 so looks neat and cool, although crowded in the evenings. Don't forget to visit the Soho Square in the evening with its dazzling lights. The Farsha bar is out of this world. The Heavenly Cathedral is an absolute must - one of the most beautiful churches that we have seen ever. The Bedouin night show and food were nothing special but the kids liked the camel rides and the safari on the quadrobikes.

The hotel s contracted beach, Viva Beach was tidy, clean and the staff was friendly.
We had three or four dinners at El-Masrien restaurant and were satisfied.
Altough the service was a bit erratic, the food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable.
It was very easy to travel around that we visited the Old Town and Soho Square by using local minibus.
I must say that it is always necessary to bargain when shopping and taking taxi.

The area of Sharm El Sheikh is stunning and there is plenty to do. Shop around for trips out as there is a huge price variance between vendors and pay up front as most charge for credit / debit card use and cash machines are massively expensive to use with terrible rates.

The hotel was amazing facilities food animation team lovely
The manger Mr amr and Mr Mahmoud so profficional and helpful
Very quickly check in
Location and view amazing the hotel is huge many things to do no need to go outside
Kids area and kids club was fantastic
Swimming pools and aqua park was great
Many variety of restaurants under booking categories all inclusive all for free and drinks and coffee was good Italian taste
Above and beyond every expectation.it has changed my opinion of all inclusive hotels. The quality of everything from the rooms to the restaurants and facilities was amazing. All the staff went out of their way to be welcoming and friendly, working extremely hard make us feel cared for, nothing was too much to as for, really exceptional hospitality.
We will rebook and definitely recommend this to anyone. What a wonderful experience
Food was good and variable, staff were great ,beds were soooooo poor and uncomfortable, room furniture is old and not a 5 stars furniture .pool area needs renovation ,restaurant by the beach is not allowed for regular guests, the salt lake is also not allowed for regular guests, and the big golf cars are only for D club ,which is very disappointing because it wasn't mentioned in hotel information during the reservation process 😑
I would give the hotel a glowing 5 out of 5 stars! The experience was exceptional from start to finish. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room was comfortable and spotless, offering a perfect retreat after a busy day. The hotel's amenities were top-notch, and the location was ideal for exploring the area. I couldn't have asked for a better stay! and lucca is the best
Everything was very bad, i dont think this hotel is 5 stars. Food is very awful and limited, i requested many things such password of the safe, toothpaste and even the towels on the pool was not available :).
This hotel is overrated and the amount paid for the one night in this hotel i feel like i have thrown it in the rubbish. In addition to the room and the corridors were not clean.
Location, view and facilities: this hotel considers to be the biggest hotel in Sharm and it deserves its reputation, even though the hotel now is just a 4 stars hotel but it operates as if it is a 5 stars one.
Staff from Mr. Gamal of the reception team along Ms.Basma from relation team and all other stuff were very friendly and worked our requests as soon as we request something.
I would highly recommend this hotel. I have been to Egypt 5 times and this has to be the best hotel. I have travelled the world and this is in the top 5
5 star for staff, room, food, facilities, entertainment, bar and amazing management !
Special thank you to Mr Mohammed Assar, Raffat, Paola , Mohammed, Ahmed, Kamara and Tousaft.
Paola at the pool bar was brilliant!!
An amazing hotel with great staff that are helpful, warm and just so nice. Wonderful food and exceptionally clean and beautiful rooms. The hotel was absolutely the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sun and the sea. We booked it as an all inclusive which was a great choice. Lot's of beach bars. Definitely the best hotel around and I would return back for a vacation.
The property has lots to say offer, many pools events and activities. Staying at Rixos- Ultra All Inclusive Adults only, permits you access to its neighbouring hotel which is family oriented. Its main attraction is the water park!
Restaurants, the neighbouring hotel and pools across the resort were all accessible! Buggies picked you up and dropped you off
location is great in the heart of Naama Bay
staff very polite and friendly
room very old and bathroom is old and bathtub is always blocked but water pressure is good
swimming pool is just ok
price value is good compared with other budget hotels
in short sentence it's a hotel for sleeping only
i didn't try the food to judge
The location is good. The beach and main area of Naama bay is a short walk across the road through another hotel. I only booked the hotel breakfast and dinner as wanted to try out the other local eating places - I’m glad I didn’t pay for all inclusive. The menu was very limited and I didn’t enjoy the food at all.
A new hotel that opened two months ago, excellent, clean, very beautiful, lots and lots of swimming pools, several dining rooms, all inclusive really includes everything. The reception manager Magdi is a helpful guy, goes out of his way to answer any request
Beautiful place, the friendliest staff. Great selection of food. Lovely private beach in the hotel.
I would suggest booking All inclusive, as its better value for money.
If you want luxury in Sharm el Sheik with a 5 star service, I would fully recommend.
The facilities, staff, and the room were all very good, you can access the beach very easily and also the pool. All of this was under a very good budget, Naama bay is a very happening place and you cannot ask for a better hotel at this price.
amazing pools and room size and food all inclusive. i was bitten and the hotel organised for a doctor to arrive within 10mins to my room to look at and help. really appreciated it
the hotel was nice ,food is good ,location so nice ,near Naama bay,i was happy to enjoy this hotel .Specially thanks for Daria,Natali and Mohamed in the lobby bar.
