This is not the place to stay if you are just looking for a hotel. It is deep in the mountains, with no WiFi and no cell. But it IS the place to go if you are looking for a magical, peaceful place with the kindest people surrounding you. It is a sanctuary, not a hotel. The food was amazing, the staff and fellow hikers/visitors were universally kind and friendly, and the setting is just so beautiful. What a special place! Soul-renewing!

Guests have access to shared dining areas, kitchen, terrace and bathrooms. There are many hiking and mountain climbing routes in the area, and you can also visit gorges, forests and nearby Romanesque churches. Ripoll and Sant Joan de les Abadesses can both be reached in a 30-minute drive.
