Amazing stay which exceeded our expectations. You would definitely need a car to access the location, the area is super quiet and peaceful with awesome views. The rooms are spacious and include all needed amenities. We happened to be the only guests during our stay so had the huge kitchen and living area to ourselves. Would love to visit again in warmer months to take a dip in the pool!
Featuring a heated infinity pool and a spa, DDG Retreat is situated in the hills just 1 km north of Casares. It offers stylish, eco-friendly bungalows with views of the surrounding countryside.

We felt so relaxed and privileged to stay in such an outstanding place. We were blown away by our accommodation, Oleandra suite. Every detail thought about. The pool sauna steam gym area was fabulous. This is to share with 1 other couple (which we never saw). We had the fish platter in the evening & fruit for breakfast. Daria & Andrea were very welcoming. Its Like a dream

The location was beautiful, our apartment was clean and welcoming. It was quiet, so we could relax, the neighbors were kind, and we had a lot of fun by the pool.

This apartment is a gem on the coast! The sea is just in front of you and views from the terraces are stunning. Place is quite spacious and can easily accommodate 4 people. The terrace itself is huge and we were, actually, using it mostly, rather than the rooms inside :)
The internet connection is very good and stable, in case of workation. We used it for calls and meetings and never had any issues.
Patricia is an amazing host: very attentive, helpful and always staying in touch. We really appreciate all the efforts she did to make our stay comfortable.

Easy, friendly communication with the host and easy to gain access to the property once given instructions. Beautiful, clean casita within easy reach of the main pueblo. Very traditional and very Spanish. Everything provided for a comfortable stay. Despite visiting in February/March with colder temperatures, we loved sitting out on the terrace, looking at the magnificent views - my favourite part of the house - but it's still a bit of a suntrap! I would highly recommend this little house for a taste of real Andalucian Spain.
Useful information: Parking is nearby ( if a little tight depending on how many cars are parked) and free, just down the slope from the house ( and it is a slope!). There are narrow stairs from the ground floor up to the first floor, where the combined lounge and bedroom are. In light of this, we decided against lugging our suitcases from the car to the house, and just took a few things in, leaving our cases in the car - we were only staying one night anyway. The swimming pool in the photos does not belong to the house. I think it's the main seasonal municipal pool.
The house is small ( hence being called a 'casita'!), but is traditional, and the size in no way detracts from the comfort and fantastic experience of staying in a Spanish whitewashed house so typical of Andalucia. We loved it!
A lovely host, rightfully proud of his super property.
A lovely host, rightfully proud of his super property. Several good restaurants within easy walking distance and others down in Casares
village which demand an interesting but steep walk back.Outstanding views from the terrace by day and even after dark give visitors endless photo opportunities.

We stayed for one night.
We stayed for one night. We arrived late but were greeted at midnight by the owner, who kindly welcomed us to the property. The owner made sure that we were familiar with the facilities. The property was nice and clean, with a nice back patio and a large terrace upstairs with the most beautiful view of the town and the valley below. The next morning, we had a delicious breakfast, prepared by the owner. He joined us for a cup of coffee, and we had a charming conversation about the area and many other issues. We highly recommend this B&B in case you visit the beautiful town of Casares, Andalucia.

It’s a little out of the way from things normally I don’t mind a short walk but far too hot in
August with kids in tow to walk in the heat. Luckily we hired a car and went to lots of other local beaches as buses were few and far between. I wouldn’t stay this far away from
A town again in the heat of summer. Would have spent far too much in taxis.

This is not in Casares, the white hilltown. This is in Casares Costa, a mile from the beach and close to the Finca Cortesin luxury hotel and golf resort. It is a new property, very clean and the aparment was very roomy. You have to have a car and it is in a residential area with other new apartment/condo developments surounding it.

The apartment was great, the terrace/balcony has wonderful views and was very comfortable to sit and relax. The pool area was also very comfortable and enjoyable. The larger shower tended to leak onto the bathroom floor and we had to place a towel down to prevent a flood. Also, the bedding was very thin as were the pillows. The kitchen was fully stocked with plates, knives, cutlery and every utensil you could ever need. Overall, 9/10

This B&B is located just outside the town of Casares which means it is easy to park and then to access the town. Andy is an excellent host who was there to meet us, welcomed us and looked after out needs throughout our stay. There are two rooms in the house for guests which have a large balcony with spectacular views overlooking the valley.
Well equipped house over three levels in the center of Casares village with a small terrace, a warm welcome and everything one needed for a few days (or more)
