obviously an amazing location. the young people who live around the island are super fun to hang out with (when they have the time) and really showed us a good time. It was nice that family members get together to relax and play music/have kava regularly and guests are invited.

That staff were friendly and the food was great. I liked how they put mosquito coils in the room overnight. Staying there had a personable feel. The location was great with things to do.

If you want a real Fiji experience, you got to stay in a home stay. You will be part of Fijian life, habits and culture! The family at Sunrise Lagoon Homestay is lovely, food was simple but amazingly cooked by Lice! Yummy, healthy and fresh! They got dogs, puppies, cats, chickens, it was a blast playing with them and the kids! I totally recommend this lovely home and will definitely come back!!!

I can’t recommend this place enough! Lise & her family were such welcoming hosts. They we’re so friendly and made sure we were taken care of. The food they cooked was super fresh & delicious! It is by no means a resort, the accommodations are simple but it is clean and you feel at home! Plus the location is amazing!

Was such a wholesome experience meeting this family. Their way of life and being apart of it. Very real. They live off the land and sea predominantly. Went fishing and got to eat the fish we caught. The beach is right at your doorstep with crystal clear waters! So relaxing! This is their village, their island. So appreciative of them having us. There's only one little supermarket on the other side of the island. About 20mins. Such a beautiful walk over there. Bring sunscreen and insect repellent. Theres not too many mozzys but just in case. My partner and I are so glad we didnt go to a fancy resort. If you're not open-minded and adventurous, maybe go somewhere else. Thank you Lice and Jo for having us. We will be back. :):):):):)

truly a hidden paradise. the group of small bungalows in the care of Lice and jo, their amazing hospitality and friendliness and the breathtaking landscapes all around made my stay here the best time I've had in Fiji. while in here, I went fishing with Jo, went snorkeling to beautiful areas, went hiking around the island and got to hang out with their incredible family. Food is on the table everyday, Lice cooks wonderful nourishing meals everyday and the menu is just what she cooks which is normally one option. the prices are a steal so if you decide to want to enjoy the simple life for a few days, this is your place! thank you so much Lice, Jo and Family!

I loved my stay at Sunrise Lagoon Homestay! I had a amazing time, met incredible people, home made food was tasty! 😋 Kudos to the Women (Mom) of the Homestay, she is hard working women taking care literally of everything and extended family, and tourists. They are honest and very good family! Staying there you feel a part of family and feels very comfortable. I would stay there again! loved the mango🥭 trees and my daily hike to the Blue Lagoon!
