L’Aiglon (The Eaglet) is named after the Golden Eagles that are often to be seen soaring high above Sainte Foy. It is situated on the second floor of the Balcons de Sainte Foy and has a large east-facing balcony offering views of the nursery slope, and a south-west facing balcony offering views of the Mont Pourri and Aiguille Rouge mountains. It has a spacious living area with fireplace and large balcony on the lower floor, and 2 double/twin bedrooms, and 2 bath/shower rooms on the upper floor. Sainte Foy has built up a cult following amongst off-piste skiers, boarders and telemarkers who revel in the extensive powder fields where it’s still possible to make fresh tracks days after a snowfall. It is equally popular with families and beginners as the wide, sunny, quiet pistes are ideal for those just getting acquainted with the joys of skiing or boarding. In summer, there’s so much to do that there really is something for everyone. You can choose to mountain bike, road cycle, hike, climb, play golf or tennis, swim, watch the Tour de France, indulge at the local wine fairs, or simply relax and soak up the sun. Everything you need is within walking distance of the apartment, but if you wish to explore further afield, a car would be useful.
