Above the fortified village of Cuébris, built on a rock, tower the ruins of a castle from the feudal period. The village is an ideal base for many walks through a unique gorge. Not far away flows the Riou. This river spoils you with spectacular views and attracts with waterfalls, climbing areas as well as natural hidden swimming spots. Canyoning and climbing from Roquesteron (3 km), which also offers all kinds of shopping facilities. Canyon du Riolan (10 km) is one of the most beautiful of its kind in France, with clear water at pleasant temperatures and natural swimming spots with natural slides. Nice and Castellane 1 hour, the Gorges du Verdon 1.5 hours.
