The apartment is quiet but easily situated for the ski-lift, pistes and buses. The apartment is compact but cosy. The balcony is south-facing and has views across to the wooded mountain and slopes beyond. From the balcony, you can sit with a glass of wine, watch the returning skiiers and listen to the sounds of the River Dranse and the Nyon waterfall. The kitchen is newly fitted for 2020 and has a four ring hob and plenty of storage. The apartment has an entrance balcony for easy storage of skis and boards and a boot rack for ski/snowboots. The bathroom has a shower and a (short) bath to relax in after a hard days skiing, boarding or biking!!
We love Morzine as its only an hour and a half from Geneva airport and has a range of shops, restaurants and bars whether you want some lively apres ski with live music or a quiet meal in a high-quality restaurant. The ski area is one of the biggest in the world where you can keep discovering new runs, no matter how many times you have visited. In summer, the mountains are even more beautiful and there are so many fantastic walks to do. Further afield, it's a short drive to Lake Geneva (Leman) with beaches, spas, water sports and many historic small villages and towns including Evian and Montreux. We use the apartment ourselves so we try to make sure it is equipped with all the things you need for your holiday like a good wf-fi, coffee maker, toasters and a good range of kitchen equipment. We love Nyon as it feels as you are in the mountains and it's easy t.o get on the slopes quickly
The apartment is in Nyon, a quiet area 20 minutes talk from the centre of Morzine along the banks of the River Dranse. The apartment is right next to the Nyon skill lift which takes you directly to a range of runs from easy blues to challenging blacks and off-piste as well as the highest peaks in Morzine. You can ski back to the apartment or take the lift back down after apres ski! On the Nyon plateau, there are a number of restaurants including one with a unique birds of prey experience! A free bus stops outside the apartment providing access to the centre of Morzine and to other ski-lifts. In summer, the bus goes direct to the beautiful Lac Mines D'Or where there are many fantastic walks including routes to Switzerland. In summer, it's an unmissable experience to take a short walk from the Point de Nyon chairlift to the top of Point de Nyon with spectacular 360 degree views to Lake Geneva. The Cascade de Nyon (Nyon waterfall) is just a couple of minutes walk away. In summer, there are high ropes, canyoning and adventures there. The renowned bike tracks of Morzine and Les Gets provide a range of challenges from easy trails to single track black trails
