The room was nice and clean with a small balcony to enjoy. L'Oasis is located on a hill and has a big terrace with a fantastic view on Lake Geneva where we enjoyed delicious breakfast with a variety of sweet and savoury treats. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. The pool is big enough to take a swim and very nicely located in the quiet garden of the hotel. Several very good restaurants and the city centre are within walking distance. All in all it was a very delightful stay.

We were here for just a day, so I cannot make thorough analysis of the place. Great walk alongside the lake. Small city center with few good restaurants. (You have to reserve for the good ones at least few days in advance) I recommend to visit the Cachat spring and the spring building (it's currently under restoration to make it even more beautiful)

I liked that the little town centre was safe to move around...
I liked that the little town centre was safe to move around even in the wee hours of the morning where i had to walk 20 minutes back to my hotel after leaving the casino. Had a good time walking and looking around the little quaint shops in Evian town centre and the water source of Evian is walking distance from the town centre and Hotel Royal Evian. Loved the Chinese Restaurant called Chinatown Chinese Restaurant, food was great! If you are looking for a good spread of Western food head down to Le Pub which is located just next to the Casino itself. Taking the boat across to Lausanne, Switzerland was a breeze which cost 21 euros?Reynaldo PaulinhoSingapore - 10

Shops, restaurant, good sized supermarket, quiet, relaxing, good ferry service to other places around Lake Leman including Lausanne. (Remember to take your passport or ID, we weren’t asked for it but we were told we had to take it with us on the boat trip, there were no notices anywhere saying this. Great funicular railway which is free.

Stunning little spa town overlooking Lake Léman with a particularly revitalising energy. I recommend visiting the Evian water source as well as the Palais Lumière for interesting exhibitions. A boat crossing to Lausanne is also highly enjoyable.FlorenceFrance - 8.0

Not loads going on in Évian itself but enough for a short trip. we had two afternoons at the excellent public pool, a visit to the source de cachat, multiple trips on the funicular and a good exhibition in German Impressionism. Central location hotel with all amenities close by. Generally quiet, but there might be some noise in the front-facing rooms from trucks supplying shops in the early morning. Room with balcony was large and clean. Furniture was old but functional and in good condition - it adds to the style of the hotel. Nice courtyard at the back. Price was good. A very nice two star establishment! Would definitely stay again!

Teresa and Stephane have a very comfortable and well maintained century plus old hotel. Beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, euro breakfast was very complete and the pool and terrace area was a nice added bonus. Views from the rooms (Jr and Sr Suites) was fabulous! Secure parking area was also a nice bonus. On top of all that, Teresa and Stephane were very gracious hosts.

I was really pleasantly surprised. this was a last minute mini break for me and my daughter. the hotel is full of character and very thoughtful details, my daughter loved the pool and I loved the lake being so close. dinner was very good and the staff were great. I can only recommend.

Location is very good and one can reach the center by foot. There is a parking garage right at the entrance of the hotel, which is very convenient. Nice view to the Lake Geneva from the balcony. Breakfast was very good as well. Liked the charme of the hotel and the friendly staff.

Very good location just a few meters from Lake Geneva. The hotel is located 2 minutes from Source Sachat Evian which is very nice. Unfortunately, I did have very limited time to explore this beautiful destination but the first impression is great.
