In the pure spirit of the Landes du Sud, the "Shaka" house is ideal for entertaining a family. Organized like a boat (one bedroom and two mezzanines) in a quiet neighborhood, it's the perfect place to spend your vacations. The large terrace, set back from the road, will be the ideal place to share moments of conviviality. Sarah will be delighted to welcome you and show you around the house and the many activities available in the region (Landes and Basque Country). In detail, "Shaka" (which means "relaxation" in Polynesian, a rallying sign for surfers from all over the world) is organized like a boat, with one bedroom and two mezzanines for the sleeping areas. I draw your attention to the potential danger of mezzanines for young children (< 6 years). The main room is open and generous. Depending on climatic conditions, air conditioning or pellet heating provide optimum comfort. The large bedroom (with TV) in the partial basement and the two mezzanines are equipped with 140 cm beds. All beds are accessible by stairs. The kitchen is fully equipped: Nespresso machine, electric teapot, toaster, etc... A laundry room (ironing board and iron available) and a 2nd fridge/freezer are also at your disposal. Household linen (sheets, towels and tea towels) is provided and will be systematically changed for any stay of more than 6 days. The terrace is equipped with a plancha and a BBQ. A number of deckchairs are available for relaxing moments. The bathroom (with shower) is complemented by an outdoor shower.

My name is Emmanuel and I'm attached to the South-West of France, especially the Landes region, having worked there for ten years. I have designed "Shaka" as a stopover where it's good to recharge one's batteries. Sarah, co-host, will be delighted to welcome you for your stay.

The apartment is located in the historic "République" district. It's very quiet, yet very close to Capbreton downtown (1 km), Hossegor downtown (2 km), Santocha beach (2 km) and Hossegor golf course (2 km). Numerous cycle paths allow you to get around Capbreton and Hossegor freely. Capbreton is less than 20 minutes from the Basque Country and 40 minutes from Spain.
