Parking in the historic center of any city is usually tricky. This was pretty easy considering it’s central location. The historic renovation was interesting.

Very nice building, comfortable bed, in a good location

Booked this hotel last minute, after the first hotel we booked had broken a/c and it was 100 degrees Fahrenheit and very humid. The hotel was beautiful and the staff spoke English which was welcome since we were already very jet lagged and had just driven almost 3 hours from Paris. The room and view was gorgeous and we loved how the bed was upstairs and the rest of the room was downstairs. There was also room service and our room included breakfast. Since we had a rental car, they also told us we could park at the theater across the way.

Location, higher level Mercure than normal, parking close by and a surprisingly very good restaurant

Great location in the City Centre with excellent restaurant adjacent. Helpful staff. Very good breakfast.

Perfect location within easy walking distance of centre of town. Rooms are high quality and those in the eaves are very characterful. Lovely breakfast. Easy (and reasonably priced) underground parking in the local car-park under the Theatre.

The service we received from the staff was incredible, my colleague and I had both booked 1 room and for some reason Booking.com had cancelled my room, it was not a problem for the staff, they immediately gave us a room. When we arrived at the room it had a bedroom up a narrow flight of stairs which was difficult for my colleague as she had problems with stairs due to a medical problem. On enquiry the staff then happily moved us to another room that had no stairs and they were so lovely about it. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with many choices and everything nice and fresh

Nice staff on reception; incredibly quiet room; excellent restaurant; nice location near centre of town and accessible from train station but on a quietish side street. Spacious room. Wonderful conversion of old building.

Lovely stay, the hotel has been converted from a chapel and it's great to see the arches etc everywhere. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. We got a couple drinks from the bar and sat upstairs, where it was nice and peaceful but you could also see the busy restaurant downstairs. All in all a great stay.

The service was fantastic, we had an issue because our booking got cancelled but the staff were amazing and gave us another room without hesitation, when we realised they had given us a double bed instead of 2 singles we were given the option of another room immediately. Breakfast was very nice, a great selection and everything was lovely and fresh

- Hello, I'm a little confused about how I book a room for two adults and one child (1 year old) - there does not appear to be this option, despite clearly stating that all children are welcome? Can you provide a cot or do we need to bring our own?Hello, In fact, you have to select 2 adults to make the reservation. You can add a note to tell us that you will come with your children, then we will provide a cot in the room. Kind Regards, Reception Desk.Answered on 26 June 2022
