The beauty of my apartment starts unravelling itself from the moment you watch at the magnificent view from the terrace. Beautiful mountain ranges surround the colourful city of Nice which in turn appears to have an endless pebbly shore. Seeing how beautiful this Mediterranean Coast really is, with its clear and teal-blue waters, you will finally understand why this region is rightfully called Côte d'Azur.
I work in Italy in the tourism industry. Nice is my all year destination when I need a break from my work. It's a beautiful city, plenty of opportunities in all seasons.
It's a city full of surprises and many dimensions. You walk around old Italian style streets, strolled on large Parisian boulevards, encountered baroque, modern and Mediterranean architecture, ate delicious gelato, sushi and seafood, drank sake, beer and fine wines. Enjoy the Tramway Ligne 2 right behind the apartment to reach the very close center, when you don't walk to walk on the Promenade des Anglais or the commercial street of Rue de France. The Baumettes district is located west of downtown Nice, just a few minutes walk from the Promenade des Anglais. The name of Baumettes would come from the bauma word which means cave and the diminutive eta, so the "small caves". Nowadays, the district of Baumettes is a residential sector, appreciated by residents of Nice as foreign investors. You will find the beautiful Fine Arts Museum, castles (folly of the nineteenth century), old hotels and beautiful villas ... and also some condominiums built after the 50s.
