The apartment is equipped and furnished with all you need to make your stay easy and enjoyable. It is spacious, cosy and decorated to make you feel at home. You will enjoy the harmonious dishes, the comfort of the 4-seat sofa and the good quality of the bed's mattresses, generous pillows and duvets. Bedrooms are located at the back of the flat, on the side of the river and a garden with a view over the mountains. One fitted a double mattress - brand new since March 2021, and one fitted two single beds. Several games are at disposal, as well as some toys for kids and a good range of dvds and books in FR/Eng and German. In winter, I will leave you some wood for the chimney. A raclette service and one for the cheese fondue are available on set. In summer, the terrace is equipped with garden furniture and a BBQ. * Bed linens and towels are not provided * End of stay cleaning needs to be done before leaving or can be organized against contribution.
I am French and was born in Gap. I grew up spending all my holidays in Chabottes with my parents, going hiking or skiing. After having spent 8 years in London, I now live in Zurich with my son where I work for an American company. My parents still live in Chabottes that's why I bought this apartment there, so that I can still visit them while keeping my independence.
You will enjoy going for a stroll around the apartment toward the river the Drac at 20min walk from the apartment, alongside the meadow, the cows and the beautiful houses from the countryside.. The apartment is at 5 min drive from a fantastic lake where you can swim, have a picnic, do stand-up paddling, wake boarding or have a ride on the floatable toboggans or play mini golf. There are also two tree adventure parks at about 15 min drive. The apartment is located in the Champsaur valley, a paradise for hiking and skiing but also canyoning, rafting, rock climbing, cycling, golfing and doing some via Ferrata. It is also a gorgeous area to enjoy the French open markets and taste their tasty specialties! Within a 45mn drive among the mountains, you can reach the magnificent lake of Serre-Ponçon with is blue turquoise water, one of the kind on which all water sports are permitted. And of course in winter you’ll have the choice of 5 ski resorts in the are within 10-30mn drive: Ancelles, Chaillol, St Lèger les Mèlèzes, Serre-Eyraud and Orcières Merlette, the latter having a freestyle park, a swimming pool, spa, ice-staking area and a bowling.
