We went there as it’s the start of the Dales Way walk to Bowness-on-Windermere so only stayed one night. It’s a lovely town, a bit like a small version of Harrogate with covered walkways and Betty’s tea rooms. Some nice shops and plenty of lovely bars and places to eat.

Ilkley is a good location with plenty to see in and around the town. It is also conveniently located for visiting the Yorkshire Dales. Traffic queues into town from Skipton Road can be long at peak times but this results from town centre traffic lights and there being no bypass for use by through traffic.

Ilkley itself worth a visit , quality shops and plenty of restaurants.
The cottage is in an absolutely beautiful location. It is lovely, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed including a small kitchen and a washer and dryer. The host was available and helpful if we needed anything. You can walk from the doorstep directly onto Ilkley Moor. The entire experience was outstanding.
This hotel is superb. It is in a fantastic location beside the river at Ilkley. It was a very peaceful hotel with free parking. Breakfasts were so good we opted to have evening meals as well during the time we stayed.
Will definitely be returning.
We have stayed here twice when visiting family in Ilkley and will stay again. The apartment is very spacious, very clean, very comfortable, very well located in Ilkley. The host was accommodating - able to fit in with our pre-arrival requests.
comfortable room, pleasant traditional hotel, superb sized bath, the parking was excellent and despite staying for just one night the hotel allowed me 2 days parking as I was working in Ilkley, very kind of them.
Central location. Able to park opposite hotel after end of daytime parking restrictions. Restaurant fixed price evening menu was excellent. Freshly cooked breakfast with decent size coffee cups.
