Our friendly cottage is waiting to welcome you whether you like walking, beaches, exploring or just relaxing. Alma's cottage, formerly two miners dwellings have now been transformed into a quirky, colourful, interesting and unique accommodation. This approx 200 year old property has great views across to Puffin Island and the Great Orme. Comprising of four bedrooms, 1 king size, 2 doubles and bunk beds. There are two bathrooms, one with a corner bath and electric shower, the other with a walk in shower. Both have washbasins and wc's. There is also a downstairs wc. The cosy heavily beamed lounge has an amazing sea vista. It is painted in an array of colours and has a 'gas' log burner, 3 seater sofa, corner sofa and a Windsor chair. There is a smart tv with BT box and Netflix. Wifi can be got throughout the cottage. The utility room has a large fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, coffee machine, iron, ironing board, maiden and sink. The dining room table seats eight with extension under stairs. There is a small breakfast room with dresser, grandfather clock and table and chairs for four. The kitchen comes fully equipped with a gas/electric range cooker and under the counter fridge. There is also baking equipment for the budding bakers in the family. At the back is a sunny courtyard, complete with a large dining table and benches for 8. At the front of the property there is seating for those who wish to enjoy the spectacular sunsets for which Penmaenmawr is renowned. Linen, towels and toiletries are provided but not beach towels - so please bring your own. We have a travel cot and high chair available. The property is heated by gas central heating, two gas fires and each bedroom has an electric panel heater which can be set to your desired temperature.

We have enjoyed as a family coming to Penmaenmawr. As a family we have had so many happy times here and would love you to have some too.

Penmaenmawr, is a lovely little village with it own museum, a great variety of independent shops, Johnny Dough's pizza place, a few takeaways, a Spar and a Co-op. There is also a boat club, a beach cafe, the beach when the tide is out is amazing and safe for swimming, paddleboarding, canoeing, windsurfing etc. You can hire little colourful beach huts. It is so central for exploring the beautiful North Wales Coast line. Amazing walks over the mountains from the front door.
