Very funky room. Well serviced and very clean. Location was good for walking from train and exploring Penzance or catching Coaster Bus from in front of Jubilee Pool to explore near by coastal villages like Mousehole or St ives. Very relaxed atmosphere and good breakfast

we loved its quirkiness and colourful decor. Bedroom was so pretty and loved the roll top bath. The living room with its huge log fire and big sociable tables….. and the food. The food was amazing. What else? Lovely friendly staff, perfect location, beautiful town .

very very very nice. the house is fantastic. From facilities, design, host, way to check in, everything is perfect! the house was spectacular and make me feel like I’m home. there is even a cute radio there, listening to music during night time. I also share to my ig haha. Highly Recommend

The unique and original rooms at the 17th-century Artist Residence are each uniquely designed in an eclectic, rustic style, with a curated collection of limited edition artworks throughout. Guests have free WiFi.

The bespoke style of each bright and airy bedroom is complemented by amenities including a flat-screen satellite TV, a private bathroom and tea/coffee-making facilities. Some rooms feature statement bathtubs and log burners. Rooms are accessed by stairs only.

Downstairs guests can find the Clubhouse, an all-day restaurant, cafe and bar offering a hearty menu of smoked meats, Cornish fish and seafood and local produce in a lively atmosphere.

In the summer, guests are invited to relax in the property's festival garden, which serves cocktails and food straight from its BBQ smokehouse, and use the ping pong and Foosball tables available.

Just a 5-minute walk from Penzance’s historic seafront, there are a number of restaurants and other galleries within a few hundred metres. Penzance Rail Station is next to the Wharfside Shopping Centre, just 0.5 miles away.

Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 9.5 for a two-person trip.
