Batty Hole Farm is a wonderful cottage resting in Briercliffe near Burnley, Lancashire. There are three bedrooms in the property sleeping six guests, made up of a king-size with an en-suite bathroom and two twins, served by a cloakroom and a shower room. The property also boasts an open-plan living space with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a woodburning stove. The market town of Burnley is situated close to Pendle Hill, a popular place for walkers, which was notorious for the Pendle Witches and the trials of 1612 in Lancaster. It is within reach of the Forest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The National Trust managed Gawthorpe Hall is in the nearby town of Padiham, Towneley Hall Museum and Park are close by or you may wish to explore the town’s waterways with a walk or boat trip along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.
