The caravan was above our expectations and had some much for the children to enjoy. Nice little holiday site and the owner went out of her way to make sure our stay was the best it could be. Will definitely be returning in the future.

Beautiful location. Rustic farm setting. Once inside the accommodation, everything is exceptionally appointed. Complete contrast to a typical farmhouse exterior - so both criteria met, with sheepdog to welcome you, alongside welcoming, friendly, relaxed and accommodating hosts . Top of the range furnishings. Beautiful bed linens. Everything needed is provided , I just wish we could have stayed longer to take in the outstanding mendip hill scenery. Perfect for a rambling/walking holiday. Mendips one side, Exmoor the other. In fact you are in Exmoor National Trust country.
Additional touches;-
Bathroom accessories, milk, coffee, cooking oils and washing up liquid provided, so no issues if you have not remembered these.

Watchet, is a beautiful, little known, harbour town . It has cute shops and cafes. The view across the harbour flood bay and Bristol Channel is delightful. Lovely steam train and station is central to the harbour area.
We know this area well as my in laws live nearby. The surrounding countryside is stunning. Rolling Medip hills and the Quantocks, then Exmoor also.
The Nelson hotel and pub has great food and a really good carvery.

The Inn is out in the country, all on it;s own and, from memory, about 5 miles from the town of Watchet. We never got to see the actual town as ,it was so busy , there was nowhere to park - especially with a Blue Badge.

The harbour and the steam train were the highlights of our stay. It wasn’t terribly touristy when we were there (just before the schools’ summer holidays), it was sunny and we found a very good cider pub (Pebbles Tavern) where we encountered an evening of shanty songs session with all the customers joining in the chorus.
If you like walking, Exmoor isn’t far with Dunkery Beacon a popular attraction for a quick hike.

I knew Watchet as a day visitor, from many years ago, but I had not visited the town for over 15 years. Back then, I liked Watchet and its history, but it did feel a little tired and stuck in time.
On my recent visit, the town was noticeably different and more active, particularly with the new East Quay development. I felt that the town had much more to offer. I will visit and stay again.

What an amazing place.
What an amazing place. So much happening, including lots of live music, market on Wednesday and on Sunday sometimes. A community arts collective, including a bookshop, art gallery, some small independent retailers of pottery and other hand crafted products. A paper making workshop, and cafe/restaurant serving delicious, mainly vegetarian food. Most striking was the friendliness of the locals, across all ages - we were made to feel very welcome by everyone we met.

The pods are really just for sleeping in due to very limited facilities in them. They were opposite the quay, shops, etc, so when the rain pelted down all the stairs were a bit precarious in the wet. Nice not to have a TV, it did have a radio and most of us have tablets etc anyway. Signal fine in pods, dodgy in some local shops, l had to go to the post office for cash as twice in shops they couldn't get a signal! Watchet is compact and l spent the day there, l feel l have seen it all.
What a beautiful guest house right in the very centre of Watchet! The bed was super-comfortable and the room was so large and spacious with a sea view, just twenty feet from everything in the town! There was no TV if you care about such things, but we don't and see it as a plus. Loved the cakes on arrival! Just have nothing bad to say!
Kim and David are the perfect hosts - friendly, professional, considerate and easy to contact. Kim very kindly gave us the local knowledge, to make sure our few days in Somerset was the best it could be. I would highly recommend booking in at the Mariner Guest House in Watchet - a lovely, quite village, with nice people.
Location fantastic - right in centre of Watchet, and off-street parking included!
Fossil beaches walkable.
Kim and Dave very welcoming and very helpful with info on where to eat and drink - and when to book!
'Admiral's Room' very good size, and en suite is huge.
Michelle and staff very friendly and polite. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms was clean and comfortable. When asking for two fans Michelle straight away got them would recommend anyone in the Somerset to stay here
A lovely cottage, perfectly located for everything in Watchet. This was our second stay in the cottage, and we will definitely return again! Watchet is a great place to stay with beautiful beaches and walks.
Loved everything! The proximity to the centre of town; the decor; the comfy beds; the convenience of on site parking; friendly neighbours; Watchet itself, which is such a lovely place. Didn’t want to leave!
We loved the cosy Pod 1 with its fabulous views over Watchet, the monthly market on Sunday morning and the incredible East Quay artists complex, food for thought.
perfect place to stay, clean comfortable with everything you need on hand, Watchet around 10 minutes away good pubs and food, other towns with in reach.
