The flat is located in a very trendy Bermondsey area in the quiet part of the neighbourhood. It is on the ground floor of a secure gated development and has shared garden. The neighbours are very friendly and would help out in an emergency as we have lived here for a very long time.

I am a Maths teacher and have very high standards of cleanliness. My flat is very clean and all my guests have always commented on it. I would like the flat left in the same condition as you have found it please. If these standards don't resonate with you, please don't book my flat.

Bermondsey area is very central, about 12 min walk to Tower Bridge and 20 min to London Bridge. There are 3 supermarkets within literally 3 min walk to get your essentials. The local pub, the Gregorian (known as the Greg amongst locals) serves pub food and is open from 16.00. There are lots of restaurants on the Tower Bridge Riverside for different budgets, which is about 10 min walk. On Saturday there is a market in the arches, literally across the road from the flat selling cheese, meat, vegetables and well as coffee and croissants. On both Saturday and Sunday, the Maltby Street market is open and should definitely be paid a visit for a typically British street market. There is plethora of world food on offer, from Spanish sausages and spit roast pork, to champagne and oysters, all consumed in a very retro atmosphere under the bunting. It actually resembles a street party more than a market! You can easily walk to Waterloo in about 40 min too. You might however get distracted by all the attractions along the way, like Borough Market, Southwark Cathedral, Vinnopolis and Tate Modern. Not to mention all the pubs, bars and restaurants!
