Stokenchurch is a lovely village with very pleasant residents. However the Kings Hotel is a big let down to the area. If I were to return I would find better accommodation. It would probably be alot cheaper and cleaner.

We stayed one night for Garsington Opera – which is less than 10 minutes' drive from the hotel, making the location unbeatable if visiting Wormsley. Nice country style walk to Stokenchurch or The Dashford Arms in opposite directions along the A40. Chris' Cafe is a good truck stop style eatery with decent choices at decent prices.
