it’s immaculately clean! Very interesting decor. the bed is probably the best one I have experienced. My train got delayed because of strike action and James was soo generous to meet me in person and let me stay an extra night!

A nice location for visiting the area. Good advice from James regarding the round trip and eateries which was very helpful.

All round excellent room, bed is super comfy and I really liked the lounge area too. Location is very convenient, with off or on street parking. Both Angela & James were really friendly. Will definitely be going back with family & friends on BPW and walking trips!

My partner and I had an absolutely lovely stay for the weekend. The room was cosy and warm and felt very much like home. The little kitchen area was perfect for a short stay and we used it to cook dinner and breakfast. On the way out the hosts gave us a jar of honey and recommendations for our walk!

Absolutely beautiful place, even better than the pictures. We were greeted with a smile on arrival, he came out as we we couldn't figure out which key it was (it was obvious in the end!). Really friendly and welcoming owners. The facilities were perfect. Bed was SO comfy and huge, such a good night sleep. We stayed in Pen Y Ty which has a corridor between the facilities and bedroom but this was no issue at all still very private and didn't cross paths with anyone on the way to kitchen or bathroom so don't let that prevent you from booking it, it was no bother. Incredible view from the room, close to lots of amenities and managed to get a lot done despite horrible rainy weather. The Welsh cakes were also a lovely touch. Thank you for a beautiful stay.

Good location, comfortable bed, kitchen fully equipped and hosts were nice and friendly. Quirky detail throughout the accommodation.

Was very clean, very quiet and over all a beautiful place to stay

The location It's wonderful place quite Good & smart house I would say it's perfect place to rent

I only stayed a night and didn't use the kitchen. Very large & comfy bed in a warm and cosy room, it was great to reach James' place after a day of hiking in the rain. The shower room is wonderful, the fact that it's separated from the bedroom is not a problem at all. The house itself is beautiful and the bedroom has a view towards the city and the mountains. Easy to park in the street (might be a bit more difficult when Brecon Beacons is busy in the summer). I loved that the owners left me messages with explanations, things to do in the area, and checked up on me. Bonus point for Walt's burgers in the city, they're delicious! Thank you.

Plenty of information about accomodation & local places to visit from owner via email before our arrival. Also a comprehensive information book in room. Nicely decorated room which was warm and cosy. Small fridge with jug of milk. Jug for water. Plenty of tea, coffee and sugar. Comfortable bed. A large portable mirror for doing shaving and makeup on table. Good shower & plenty of shower gel & shampoo. Good views from window. Close to a park.
