The location and surrounding area is the main attraction here. The staff are brilliant and so friendly to our wee dog. The rooms are relatively basic but for a night got everything you need and the beds are comfy but..

My mum was born in Carfin, and we visited relatives there quite frequently - mostly passed on now. My wife and I were on our way to a holiday in the highlands so we decided to break our journey in Motherwell.
I was last there about fifty years ago, so everywhere was very different! Was nice being back...

Staff were doing a job, sometimes reluctantly i found.
Staff were doing a job, sometimes reluctantly i found. I know the problem with recruiting staff at the moment and retaining them but really someone should be overseeing their interaction with the public, nevr mind initial training.

It was a one night stop off to break a long journey. TBH it was about what I expected for the money paid. The plus was the resturaunt the food was suprisingly good & saved having to hunt around for something to eat in an unknown area in a wet night. As a budget stay, pretty good.

Lovely hotel for a stop over, we traveled from Wigan and arrived at hotel late so night porter booked s in, they were expecting us so book in was fast and easy just what you want after a long trip. room was lovely and comfortable only tiny little negative could have had done with more milk for night/morning brew.
The location is super handy, situated close to the M74. Ideally for people traveling into Glasgow or surrounding areas. There’s a gorgeous Loch behind the hotel which is handy if you fancy a walk or a run. The room was extremely clean and decorated to a high standard. The Toby Carvery was amazing as well so you don’t really need to leave the site once you’re there if you’re only staying overnight for work like I was. Will 100% be staying again next time I’m in Scotland - really pleased I came across this place.
Nothing really because the property called us after 10pm on the day of arrival to tell us that they had double booked and NOT to travel to them because they did not have our room. They advised us to book ourselves a hotel in Edinburgh, even though this hotel, the location we wanted to be at, was in Glasgow!
The lady that unfortunately conveyed the message to us in the night tried her best, apologised as she did not know either until that time, but it was too late for her and for us of course!
Staff were excellent, couldn't do enough for us. Food and drink services were amazing. I love the style of the hotel too, very relaxing after a hard day's work. Great shower and bathroom. Room service was excellent too. It was nice and close to where I was working and the wifi connection was good enough in the room to allow me to continue into the evening. Only a 20 to 30 minute trip into the centre of Glasgow (£20 with one of the city cabs which is cheaper than Uber!)
Excellent stay made even better by really friendly staff who went out of their way to accommodate our larger group whilst also taking time to chat with us. Staff gave the kids some fantastic taekwondo advice before a big tournament which made the stay even more special for the kids. Fantastic value for money both for the hotel room and the restaurant which served a great assortment of food all of which was high quality and well prices
The apartment is well equipped with everything you would need. Unexpected little items such as washing up liquid, bubble bath, shower gel etc to name a few were a lovely touch. The towel art swans with the biscuits and chocolates were amazing. Will definitely consider using again when we come to Scotland for our annual family trips. We arrived into Scotland earlier than check in time and was able to gain access early too. Brilliant!
The bed was soooo comfortable. I don't know what they do differently than the hotels, but the bed was 10 times better than the standard hotel beds.
Seemed a bargain at the rate I paid and conveniently close to where I needed to be. Everything was done electronically and I never saw a single employee of the establishment. That can be good or bad depending on your preference.
Very modern decor, excellent light and furnishings. Pleasently surprised to find a fridge/freezer and small oven/grill in the kitchen area. Shower was fantastic, excellent pressure. Bed was large (super king?) and very comfy. Was not bothered by noise at all despite proximity to busy road into Motherwell. Good location and ample parking. I felt safe and secure staying here.
The hotel is in a great area for us next to m and ds and the beautiful Strathclyde lake and park , the hotel staff very friendly and welcoming, the beds very comfortable , the lounge and bar area are really lovely . We will probably be back as long as the price doesn’t increase anymore , as the location is fab and staff are lovely.
hotels location is great for onward travel and access to glasgow for sightseeing and shopping. the staff are extremely helpful and welcoming, our room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. the breakfst was amazing with the choice of food and drink on offer and the value for money. will definitely use this hotel again.
It was a pleasant hotel , the staff were friendly and helpful and for a solo traveler , you felt welcomed and at ease. It is in the centre of Motherwell so in the vicinity of all amenities and near the train station for travelling out with town
Welcoming staff. Just an easy short walk from the railway station. Modern, clean and spacious rooms. Very good bar/restaurant within the hotel serving delicious freshly-cooked meals at good prices. Booking half-board provides even better value.
I was totally impressed with this hotel. The place was very grand with a great bar and restaurant area. The whole hotel is very well presented and the rooms are of a very high standard and staff very polite... Plus great EV Charging point.
Breakfast was v good, location was good, restaurant was v busy as it is an excellent place to have lunch or dinner. Meals were good and reasonably priced. Offers a 2 for 1 option on various items on the menu.
The hotel was in a good location for us as we were attending an event in Motherwell. Convenient as it was just off the motorway.
The shower was great and the room was spacious.
Nothing.
