The Red Kite feeding and rehabilitation centre is not far from the property, and the sheep dogs put on a great show moving the cattle and sheep from the fields before feeding starts. The Gilfach Nature Reserve is a fabulous place to take a walk with its small rapids and waterfalls. It is just 2 miles from the busy market town of LLanidloes with numerous restaurants and cafés. Llanidloes is on the river Severn, and a walk in the Hafren Forest and to the source of the river or a viewing of osprey on Llyn Clywedog makes a great trip....
