Lots of good places to eat and friendly service. Also great produce to buy in local shops. Lots of lovely walks and really loved a visit to Drummond castle gardens. Great wee coffee van in the grounds.

It's a busy little town, plenty places to eat or get take away food, beautiful country walks, some specialist shops and lots of outdoor activities and attractions. It has a great caravan park with lodges and glamping pods and fishing on the river. Caithness Glass has a viewing gallery to see glassblowing and is located at the visitor centre. Drummond Castle and gardens is a must, not far out of town at Muthill.

A busy town on the outskirts of the highlands.

A busy town on the outskirts of the highlands. It is close enough to the high mountains which many will be keen to explore. There were plenty of places to eat; I chose an Italian and was not disappointed. Crieff itself is small enough to be explore on foot; the Glen Turret distillery is a short 20-minute walk from the centre of the town.

Crieff itself is 4 out of 5.

Crieff itself is 4 out of 5. A number of boarded up shops (but this seems to be prevalent everywhere). However, on the plus side, traffic flows very well, the people are friendly and helpful and there is a good diverse range of shops available. Parking is easy. The greatest attribute is the beautful surrounding area. I'd recommend staying out of town to ge the best experience.

Small town with a ton or outside activities.

Small town with a ton or outside activities. Loads of hiking trails, nice golf course right next to town, most everything is in walking distance. The distillery has a beautiful bar but food is quite pricy. Ate at KBs Italian restaurant for dinner - delicious! Love the town and the residents!

We were in Crieff to take part in an organised classic car rally from Perth to Glencoe and back. Crieff was perfectly placed for that. Set in beautiful Perthshire countryside with easy access to everywhere really. The town itself is pleasant.

It was in a quiet area so was great for sleeping. Close by to Crieff so we could grab a meal. Yvonne and David were amazing with my little boy! We only stayed one night but felt like family the morning we left. They also kept out little boys cuddley safe as we left him but collected him on the way home. They even gave us fresh vegetables from their garden to take as presents to my sister. I have recommended them to relatives. We will use them again when going up that way.

The location was perfect, within walking distance of town but also with easy access by foot to lovely country walks, bike rides, and the activities at Crieff Hydro. The gardens were stunning. We saw lots of wildlife (red squirrels, hedgehogs etc) and the children loved having a stream in the garden. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The cottage was very cosy and well-equipped, and it was great to be able to bring our dog too.

The location was easy to find and had a private car park that was not over-busy, so parking was easy. The hotel was located very close to the town centre which made exploring Crieff very accessible. I was asked to order breakfast the evening before, which was convenient; I chose more-or-less the full Scottish breakfast each day, which was tasty and well presented.
