We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dinckley Court. It’s a beautiful property located as it is alongside the River Thames and the perfect spot for visiting Oxford and other nearby parts of Oxfordshire. There are many great options for eating nearby. We received a very warm welcome from Annette and our room was very comfortable and well equipped. We would definitely stay at Dinckley Court again!

THE PERFECT STAY FOR WORK OR PLAY. Dinckley Court offers fabulous Double/kingsize ensuite room only bedrooms in a relaxing setting on the RiverThames direct frontage in the Oxfordshire countryside. All of the deluxe bedrooms have wifi throughout and decorated/recently refurbished to a high standard in Country House/contemporary style as well as offering a relaxing enjoyable environment with only 7 miles to Oxford city centre in a lovely village setting. The private grounds of approximately 7 acres of lead onto 160ft prime frontage with full fishing and mooring rights with space to land a helicopter in paddock! Boat hire is offered by from Salters Steamers Oxford and AV Boats who also deliver and collect and local paddle board hire is also available with lessons. The property is also within walking distance of a 16th century Inn, The Manoir aux Quat' Saisson, Crazy Bear - Stadhampton and great pubs and restaurants in Dorchester on Thames. Close to Wallingford, Henley, Oxford and convenient to Bicester Village and London. Nearest airport Heathrow. Relax, enjoy, stay we look forward to welcoming you.

Close to good local restaurants/excellent pubs such as The Chequers, close to Crazy Bear, Maison Blanc, White Hart Dorchester on Thames, Seven Stars and Mole Inn at The Baldons and only 7 miles to Oxford City Centre. The charming village of Dorchester-on-Thames is less than a mile away, with its own abbey, antique shops and pub/restaurants and there is a fine pub only 200 yards from the property a 16th century thatched inn serving great food and breakfast. Situated on the River Thames, Burcot is a hamlet in Oxfordshire on the north approximately 1 mile, from Dorchester on Thames, 3 miles from Abingdon, 3 miles to Wallingford and 7 miles from Oxford. Nearby attractions include Oxford city centre, Blenheim Palace, Dorchester Abbey, Newington House and the Didcot Railway Centre. The close-by market town of Abingdon was once the county town of Berkshire and the magnificent county hall and court house, now the museum, was supposedly designed by Christopher Wren. The site of Abingdon Abbey houses associated monastic buildings including the Abbey Exchequer, the timber-framed Long Gallery, a bakehouse, gateway, St John's pilgrims' hostel and the Church of Saint Nicolas.
