This one bedroom apartment has a newly fitted kitchen and bathroom. You also have a snug cosy sitting room where you can relax and watch some TV, we also have a comfy double bedroom for you to relax in after a day of exploring South Lanarkshire. This modern feel property is the perfect property for leisure or travel, giving you that home-from-home feel while away from the comfort of your home. The living space contains a large sofa and a dining table, as well as a television and the remains of an ancient fireplace. Being located in the centre of Douglas, the apartment also has easy access to all the local shops and restaurants in the area, as well as its stunning medieval attractions. It's also very close to some incredible countryside walks, or if you fancy a few drinks there's a lovely bar not too far.

Douglas is an idyllic village not far from Glasgow, surrounded by gorgeous countryside and still containing much of its ancient medieval past. St Bride's Church still stands proudly over the village, and just a short walk or drive away are the ruins of Douglas Castle, a fortress with an amazing history: not only was it fought over constantly between the Scottish and the English, but it was also where Bonnie Prince Charlie stayed before the Battle of Culloden.
