Really pretty town.
Really pretty town. Very friendly with lots of different shops, parks and things to see and do. The views across the Scottish borders was amazing. Go visit. We stayed at the GreenTree hotel and ate there, the food and service was fantastic. We visited the East gate theatre which was sweet and well run. Get location too. Loved every minute. Easy parking. Easy walking.

Peebles is a nice Borders town with a lot of interesting...
Peebles is a nice Borders town with a lot of interesting independent shops and cafes.Pleasant walk from town along the Tweed. Easy access to other places in the Borders and Edinburgh. Culzean gardens , Dawyck garden and Traquair house close attractions.

A great example of what a country town should be - full of...
A great example of what a country town should be - full of character and lots of individual stores, such as a gents outfitters and a wine merchant and several ladies boutiques plus gift shops. A busy town always, but especially on market days. The walks by the river are peaceful and relaxing. Some nice cafes for lunch and a historic monument - the Cross Kirk (worth the walk to see it)

Bit of a quirky town with a mix of some really historic bits...
Bit of a quirky town with a mix of some really historic bits and modern shops. There is supposed to be a lot of independent stores here but nothing jumped out at me.
Town is by the river where there was a car park as we couldnt find anything in the town.
Worth a short stop if you are in the area

Peebles has a lovely buzz to it, lots of beautiful buildings...
Peebles has a lovely buzz to it, lots of beautiful buildings and a good mix of shops both independant and chains. We enjoyed an excellent dinner at Franco's restaurant, great fish and chips from Jim Jack's and also enjoyed a walk along the river.

The room was comfortable and spacious with a fridge for fresh milk with tea and coffee. Quality toiletries and fluffy towels and dressing gowns were provided . There was also an ironing board, iron and hairdrier. Also a fan for hot weather. The meals in the bar were of generous portions and freshly prepared. Staff were friendly, helpful and competent. There is good parking and outside seating in the garden. There are good views from the garden and rooms to the rear of the property. The hotel is conveniently near the main street in Peebles.

Lovely little cosy place to stay . Clean fresh, nicely decorated. Ideal position just off high street. A minute or two to the carpark.
Bed really comfortable. Shower lovely
Kitchen good .Everything you need in it . Communication excellent owners come across very friendly and helpful.
Peebles beautiful area . Definitely recommend a visit

The property is conveniently located in the centre of Peebles, a very pleasant town with lots of restaurants and good walking opportunities. The hotel pub itself is great - friendly atmosphere, great Guinness and lively.
The cooked breakfast was fantastic, perfect if you’re going for a hike!
Everyone was also very friendly.

Location is good for visiting Peebles where you can walk.
Lots of interesting history about the hotel on display
I enjoyed the use of gym, sauna and steam room.

Loved the hotel and location. Parking is good, and Peebles is on the door step. Hotel has an old school classic style. Breakfast and dining room staff were super. Rooms very cosy and very clean.
