    “The location was perfect for visiting family However it is also excellent for exploring the local area. Lots to do and see. We will come back The cottage was cosy and clean and excellent for our dog too.”

Grooms cottage is adjacent to the main residence on Thornton Equestrian Centre. It is a modern building in style but has been built to be in keeping with its rural setting.
The hosts of grooms cottage run a successful small equestrian centre. Guest are welcome on the yard and are able to book riding lessons whilst staying on holiday. We can accommodate your horse should you wish to bring that with you.
Grooms cottage is set in the grounds of an small Equestrian Centre. The Centre is set on a quite country lane within walking distance of the River Wyre and country Park. A fifteen minute walk will see you in Thornton Village centre where there is a supermarket, restaurants, takeaways, beauty salon, public house, hair dresses etc etc. A mile away is the town of poulton-le-fylde which has a hive of restaurants pubs and shops, something for everyone. Five minutes in the car will take you to Cleveleys which has a beach and promenade and a busy shopping centre. Five miles away is Blackpool with its illuminations , piers and many tourist facilities.
