the staff at the last drop village were amazing very helpful and polite the food was amazing too plus the chef went of of his way to make some custard for my fussy sister which was absolutely fantastic. thankyou so much for a wonderful experience we will be back again soon.
Although Wendover House has a Bolton postcode, it is in Horwich which is the town where we needed accommodation. We did not visit Bolton itself which is why the remainder of this survey is unanswered
Lived there for 60 odd years so difficult to review? It's my hometown? We were attending the surprise 50th birthday party of my daughter at San Marino's and it was a close place to stay at Belmont.
We loved the pitch view, great parking , a stone throw away from a retail park …… Room small ,no glasses in the rooms for a drink, no water , very little on covid protection , due to majority of staff not wearing masks … wouldn’t visit again until covid is not a health risk .
We are a retired couple and found The Last Drop a good base to leisure drive around the countryside and villages of North Lancashire and Pennines such as Ramsbottom and Rawtenstall and right across to Haworth.
The property was a fantastic size, almost too big for the 4 of us! We stayed here for a weekend music event in Manchester City Centre and actually found that staying in Bolton was much easier in terms of travel. The property had a TV in every room, nice comfy beds & two bathrooms with showers. The host was brilliant! Really helpful and fast at responding to a query about the oven, he was also kind enough to push our check out back by an hour.
Room was excellent value for the price. Bed was massive and liked how there was also a sofa in the room too along with a good sized desk. Bathroom was also very big too. Staff were very friendly and helpful too. Had an issue with my room card and the lady working at reception late afternoon/early evening was very helpful in resolving matter quickly. Car park facilities were excellent and secure. Hotel is a good location too.
There were dirty underpants left in a drawer, the bath panel was held together with white tape, the safes have not been working for over twelve months and whenever you ask you are told we waiting for a part, and I can’t remember the last time the swimming pool operation. If there was another hotel in the town centre I would use but i need to be central to visit family in the town.
Bolton
overall the hotel is one of the best in Bolton. they have everything you need to make your stay comfortable . the hygiene and cleanliness is outstanding like your sleeping in your own room. amazing and this is the only place where i stay when going on a night out or need a place to
Room was large, clean and well stocked. We were on a room only basis but the food in the hotel was better than some much more expensive meals we've had. Would definitely recommend the salt and pepper chicken wings! Delicious!!!
Staff were great , they received me arriving late and they accepted my last minute request to allow me to check out little bit later. I was in Bolton or a job interview.. its fair to say I didn't get the job.🤣
